So, if there are any VTubers in this community, or people experienced with 3D tools like VRoid Studio, I'd be happy to get their feedback on the character creation/customization process. With this new process proposed by the converter, it will be necessary to create/modify each NPC individually, which will certainly take more time than using generator parts. I'm not a (pixel) artist, so I depend a lot on the generator to produce dozens of NPCs to populate my maps, and this with simple changes of parameters (adding/modifying the beard, skin colour, change of clothes, etc.). My fear, however, is the loss of productivity to generate NPCs. Theoretically, we could even imagine importing VRM models of any kind of objects/animals/characters and turning them into sprites.

I've been having a surprisingly hard time finding anything. I realize such a thing is ultimately going to have its limits and I'd need to improve my personal modelling skills to move beyond it eventually, but I at least wanted something to start with.īut. And while I intend to build up my skills at actually doing proper modeling myself, one of the things I wanted in the meantime to try messing around with was just a character creator to make some varied human characters. I just both recently upgraded my computer and got an Oculus Quest, which has me for the first time in a long time looking into 3D modeling/animation.
